We understand how important it is for our clients to feel at
ease during their stay with us. We have created an environment that
combines luxury, comfort and care.
Winthrop Hall has been purpose built and specifically designed
to facilitate the successful treatment of drug and alcohol
addiction. It is staffed by professional clinicians and support
staff whose aim is to provide a very high quality, personal
service. Stylish interiors, outstanding facilities and beautiful
grounds are all underpinned by clinical excellence.
The overall atmosphere of Winthrop Hall is warm and friendly.
Clients will feel well supported on their journey into recovery
through their involvement in a well functioning theraputic
community. Whilst each client’s treatment programme is of course
our first priority, we believe that staying at Winthrop Hall should
feel as close to staying in a luxury boutique hotel as
possible.
Our single en suite rooms are unique, offering a high level of
comfort and privacy whilst linking to a ‘buddy’ room next door for
support. This combines the personal privacy that clients expect
with the proven benefits of being able to share experiences and
feelings with a ‘buddy’.
Winthrop Hall is set in the rolling Kent countryside and is
surrounded by fields and woodland. It is the perfect environment in
which to escape and relax. Clients are encouraged to use the
grounds for exercise and contemplation, and to enjoy the calm and
the tranquillity.
The woods are continually evolving, as each time a new client
leaves Winthrop Hall, we plant a tree with them to signify a new
beginning.
