Group and family support
There is evidence that the chances of achieving ongoing
abstinence from drugs or alcohol are greatly enhanced by having a
strong family or support network.
All clients of Winthrop Hall will have a comprehensive
assessment of the needs of their family or other support networks.
Where appropriate members of these groups will be encouraged to
participate in workshops, either alone or with other families.
Our family therapists are also available to offer ongoing advice
to the family or support group as part of the Recoverycare
programme.
