Assessment for admission
Before being accepted for treatment at Winthrop Hall each client
is asked a few questions regarding their alcohol or drug use
and general health to help us assess that admission is the
right thing for them, or for the family member, friend or colleague
on behalf of whom they are calling. Your answers to these questions
are given in complete confidence.
This initial assessment, which we refer to as a triage, is a
very short series of questions that help us to determine that the
time is right and you or your loved one are ready to begin the
process of recovery. The questions may be covered on the
phone, face to face or if you are a medical professional
referring a client, you can simply complete a triage assessment
online on their behalf using our clinicians log in.
